Ci-RES sustainability plan
Ci-RES Subnetwork
 
As part of the implementation of the sustainability plan of the Ci-RES project and as part of the actions for the sustainability of the project's results, the coordinator of the Ci-RES project Professor Naouel Abdellatif Mami is invited by the Coimbra group of Brazilian universities. The largest network of universities in Latin America where she will have the opportunity to present the Ci-RES project and its results to the rectors of more than 160 member universities of the network in Geneva from October 23 to 27, 2023.
 
This meeting will allow the Ci-RES sub-network to expose future actions and find synergies of cooperation with members thanks to this double event: 16th general assembly and 13th international seminar which focuses on higher education and global citizenship with a plenary session on refugees and migrants.

La Rioja University   Organized a week of exchange for the members of the Ci-RES project from Setif 2 university within the framework of Erasmus + mobility financed by the European Commission in order to concretize the actions of the sustainability plan. .
A week from June 05 to 09, 2023 is dedicated to the Ci-RES project and the synergies developed with the University of La Rioja for Ci-RES sustainability. A round table  about the project and its results as well as a debate session  was planned with the representative members of Setif 2 University.

In the implementation of the sustainability plan of  Ci-RES project, the University of La Rioja organizes a week of training and presentation of  Ci-RES project financed by the Erasmus + Key Action 107 Program.
 
During the stay, colleagues from Setif 2 universities will be able to discuss the issue of integrating the refugee students into higher education by sharing good practices from the Ci-RES project.

Refugee Youth Leadership Program 2023

LEADERSHIP, ADVOCACY AND PUBLIC SPEAKING TRAINING FOR YOUNG REFUGEES.

As part of the Ci-RES sustainability plan, and in collaboration with UNHCR Algeria, the Ci-RES sub-network announces an opportunity for the Ci-RES Alumni network to participate in a leadership program.

UNHCR, Cohere Charity and the Connected Learning in Crisis Consortium are pleased to offer a 6-month part-time online training program (8-10 hours per month) for students in refugee situations. This program is aimed at young refugees who are currently students or graduates of secondary or higher education and who are active members of their community. Participants should have a demonstrated interest in expanding access to education for more young refugees, particularly in higher education, as well as a commitment to community involvement and activism read more ...
